Join us in celebrating the 100th Oakwood Homecoming! Many of you can remember 50, 60, 75 or more years ago. Oh, what a different world it was then. We still had a high school. Everyone knew who lived in every house in town. The streets were bustling over the weekend and the event was even extended to Thursday for a time. Times and residents of the village have changed, and so has the Homecoming. BUT it is still going on and for that we are thankful. Thankful for the many volunteers it takes to put on a 3 day event....no small task! Many of your old favorites are back and as always, some new things have been added. The biggest addition is the celebrtion of the 100th anniversary. It will all take place at the Ballpark starting at 7:30 on Sunday evening with music, fun, food & fellowship! The evening will end with the much anticipated Fireworks display that you won't want to miss! Bring the family and lawn chairs and make some new memories. Get involved....start planning for next year!
